| Goldrush |
| Gold was discovered in the Fairbanks area in 1902 by Felix Pedro. Alaska is rich in minerals such as gold. You can pan for gold at El Dorado Gold Mine or take a tour of Gold Dredge #8 to learn more about how gold changed the interior of Alaska. They are still finding large amounts of gold in the area at Fort Knox Gold Mine. |
