Anchorage Guides

Lynne Glatz Jablonski: Lynne found her "Northern Exposure" by landing a unique audition for a popular cruise line. She was hired as an actress to travel the United States and perform in a 45-minute long show about touring in "The Great Land." Fascinated by Alaska, Lynne became an escort leading groups of up to 48 people on tours from Vancouver, B.C. through the Yukon and as far North as Nome and Kotzebue, Alaska. Eventually, summers were not enough and Lynne moved North for the full Alaska experience. Now settled in Anchorage with a family, Lynne is still in awe of the rugged scenery and wildlife sightings (Moose often munch up her garden!) She loves to share her city with people and, still true to her theatre background, she is apt to burst into song or recite a native story telling during her tours.

Angie (Colôn) Oberlitner has been active in Alaska tourism since 1993, she began her career as a driver/guide for Holland America/Gray Line of Alaska and went on to manage a hotel, run a railroad division and work on the startup team for a wildlife aquarium. She is now working for the Anchorage Convention and Visitor's Bureau. Angie was born and raised in the Last Frontier and graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage with her degree in education. Her love of Alaska and of sharing her great state has kept her happily in the tourism family.
